We have just recently been made aware that the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, DC is considering mandating One Touch Make Ready (OTMR) pole attachment regulations. OTMR gives contractors the right to move AT&T’s equipment on utility poles with no accountability. That’s our work and has been for 70 years. OTMR not only takes away our work and hands it over to subcontractors, it also jeopardizes the safety of our members and the general public.
